About

I turned professional in 2008, after completing the Professional Golf Management program at Grant MacEwan college in Edmonton, Alberta. I graduated top of my class and was the captain of the golf team upon completion of his time at Grant MacEwan. In 2008 I returned home to Winnipeg and became the Assistant Golf Professional at St. Boniface Golf Club. Spending 8 great years growing my knowledge and skills, I left St. Boniface as the Head Golf Professional to pursue a teaching focused career path. At GOLFTEC Winnipeg, I quickly rose through the ranks of the teaching professionals. Teaching well over 5,000 lessons during his time at GOLFTEC I received an award of Top Performing coach in 2017, among over 2,000 peers. In 2018 my passion for the golf business brought me back to a green grass environment. I accepted a position at St. Charles Country Club as the Associate Golf Professional. Working is a very service focused environment, I was able to gain the experience I was looking for to take the next step in my career. Following my time at St. Charles, I was able to advance my career back to a head professional position. I am now currently working as the Head Golf Professional at Larters at St. Andrews Golf Club.

Instruction and Credentials:

I have a passion for instruction and am a passionate learner. I believes that to be an effective coach, extensive knowledge of the game is a must, paired with excellent communication skills to share his knowledge.
I enjoy working with golfers of all skill levels and have a true passion for helping everyone truly enjoy the game of golf. I see every golf lesson as not only an opportunity to help a golfer play better, but to build a relationship to help a player love the game.

I have continued to educate myself by attending certification seminars including Wedge Matrix, Swing Catalyst, Trackman University, GOLFTEC university, and Eyeline putting. Continuing to learn, I have recently spent time learning from top golf instructors such as; David Orr, James Ridyard, Scott Cowx, Mark Evershed, Liam Mucklow, Andrew Rice, Scott Hamilton, and Chuck Cook.

As an accomplished player, I enjoy competing locally and nationally. Consistently among the top players in Manitoba, I have placed high in the Manitoba player of the standings for consecutive years. With several zone event and pro-am victories, I was proud to call myself the PGA of Manitoba champion in 2017. As a member of team Manitoba, I has competed in several national assistants championships and head professional championships, and will continue to strive to improve my game.
