PGA in Canada Strategic Plan

PGA in Canada Strategic Plan

I hope this message finds everyone well. It’s hard to believe we’re already heading into August.

Over the past year, we have worked collaboratively with our partners and stakeholders, National Board, Zone Executive Directors and their teams, Zone Boards, and our National Office team to develop the PGA in Canada Strategic Plan for 2026–2029.

This plan was built with one purpose in mind: to work together as one organization to better support our members. I truly believe we have accomplished that. Throughout the process, we gathered input from members across the country, our Zones, and our National Team to identify the opportunities and challenges that matter most. We also brought our Zone and National leaders together to collaborate on a shared vision for the future, creating what we proudly call our "In Canada Plan."

This is more than a national strategy. It is a roadmap that every Zone can use to develop its own operational plans, ensuring we are aligned in our priorities while continuing to meet the unique needs of members across the country.

Most importantly, we listened. Our members told us they wanted stronger support, more effective communication, greater visibility through branding and promotion, enhanced education, and an association that continues to evolve alongside our rapidly changing industry. Those priorities are reflected throughout this plan and will guide our work over the next four years.

It is an incredible honour to serve as your President, and I am proud to share this Strategic Plan with all of you. I encourage you to take the time to read through it, and as always, I welcome your feedback. The commitment, passion, and collaboration that went into developing this plan have been truly remarkable, and I am excited for what lies ahead.

Together, we will continue investing in what makes our Association great: our PGA of Canada professionals. Every day, you make a lasting impact on golfers, facilities, and communities across the country, and this plan is designed to better support you in that important work.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the development of this plan, and most importantly, thank you to our members for your continued leadership, guidance, and dedication to growing this great game.

Wishing you continued success throughout the remainder of the season.
