
Team from The Nest leads RBC PGA Scramble presented by BMW National Final following first round
The first round of the 10th edition of the RBC PGA Scramble presented by BMW National Final at Cabot Cape Breton saw the squad from The Nest at Friday Harbour, led by PGA of Canada Professional - and 2021 PGA Assistants’ Championship of Canada winner Branson Ferrier - pull ahead by just .1 of a stroke on Sunday on Cabot Links.
The Nest’s squad – which has a team handicap of 4.8 - made eagle on No. 8 on their way to a gross score of 56 on the par-70 layout. The team trailing them by .1 - from Cattail Crossing Golf & Country Club in Edmonton, AB – has a team handicap of 10.7 and shot a gross 62.

Saturday night featured the BMW Night Golf Challenge, where Jeremy Novakowski hit two stellar shots under the lights to send the team, which qualified from Olds Golf Club, an hour north of Calgary, on an all-expense paid trip to visit the BMW Performance Center in Thermal, California.
Sunday Night will feature the adidas Putting Challenge, where teams will each nominate a player to compete under the lights of the Cabot Bar to win full adidas outfits.
Cabot Cliffs will be the stage for the second round, with the first tee time set for 8:15 AM.
