About
Carson Taylor - Golf Professional
Since 2017 - I passed my playability test in 2017 at Woodside GC in Airdrie, Alberta
Current Location: The Winston Golf Club
Throughout my golf career I have worked at a handful of courses that I have thoroughly enjoyed. I started as a backshop staff at a course called Crosswinds just outside of Burlington, Ontario. A course that my Grandpa marshalled at. My Grandpa, Douglas Schofield, is the reason I started my career in this industry and the reason I learned to love the game. I then worked at Mckenzie Meadows Golf Club in Calgary, Alberta where I was working where I turned pro. I then worked at Cottonwood Golf Club before finding a home at The Winston Golf Club.
Education: Mount Royal University. Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education; Sport Management
Coaching: My passion lies in coaching juniors and women, helping them unlock their full potential on the golf course. I believe in creating a love for the game and establishing an inclusive environment for all levels of players.
Away from the Course: If I a not at the course you can almost always find me at the nearest arena lacing up for a game of hockey. Whether it's ice hockey, ball hockey, or roller hockey, I am in! I also enjoy spending my time volunteering, skiing, playing tennis, and spending time with my friends and family.
Charity: There are a few charities that are near to my heart and I love to support. Please take the time to check out the story of my dear friend Thea.
